Higgsfield hits $1B in revenue 18 months after launch, draws Iman Gadzhi stake

What's the deal? Investor and entrepreneur Iman Gadzhi has disclosed a position in Higgsfield, the multimedia AI company valued at $5.4 billion. He secured the stake earlier this year and kept it confidential until now.

The numbers: Higgsfield surpassed $1 billion in annualised revenue in September 2026, roughly 18 months after its product launched in March 2025. The platform now serves over 30 million users across 238 countries and territories, and powers visual production for 390 Fortune 500 companies.

What the company does: Founded in 2023 and headquartered in San Francisco, Higgsfield lets creators and enterprises produce cinematic video from a laptop — work that recently required crews, studios, and six-figure budgets. Chief executive officer Alex Mashrabov previously led generative AI at Snap; engineering and production teams are based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Why now? Higgsfield's $400 million Series B, among the largest AI raises of the year, set the $5.4 billion valuation. Backers include DST Global, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Intel Capital.

What's the endgame? Gadzhi frames the investment around access, arguing that production work once reserved for large teams is now within reach of individuals.

"What used to take a full media team of editors, producers and designers now takes one subscription," Gadzhi said. "A person on a laptop can now compete with the biggest companies in the world on the quality of what they publish."

Gadzhi, who has been building a portfolio of software and AI positions including a co-ownership stake in the online platform Whop, said returns were not his motive. "I don't invest for returns anymore. I invest to be on the right side of history," he said.

The signal: Higgsfield's revenue ramp and valuation reflect how fast generative video tools are moving from experimental to enterprise-grade. The partnership rolls out publicly starting with content filmed at the company's Almaty office, the first of several planned initiatives between the two.
