What's the deal? British recruitment firm SandersonDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Nicoll CurtinDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s operations across six countries: the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Serbia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The company announced the deal on October 1, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed.

What each side brings: Sanderson offers permanent and contract recruitment, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), managed service programs, and executive search. Nicoll Curtin adds established client relationships and specialist expertise in technology and change, built over more than 25 years across Europe and Asia.

What's the endgame? Sanderson called the deal a step in its international growth strategy, saying it strengthens its presence in Singapore and Ireland and extends its footprint across Europe and Asia. The combined business will support customers through service centers in Serbia and the Philippines.

Where it's expanding: Sanderson said it will scale further in Singapore and Ireland and move into more European markets, including Switzerland. The move pairs UK and European recruitment with offshore service centers, letting one partner cover hiring and support across several time zones.

Why now? "This is an exciting and strategically important acquisition for Sanderson," said chief executive officer Jon Ball, adding that combining the businesses "strengthens our global reach" and "supports our long-term ambition to continue growing as an independent, international business."

Nicoll Curtin chief executive officer Neil Clark said joining Sanderson lets the firm combine "our specialist expertise and established markets with Sanderson's technology, systems and talent solutions."

What changes for customers? Clients gain access to a broader international platform and a wider suite of recruitment and enterprise talent solutions. Candidates and contractors gain more opportunities across markets, while staff join a larger, more internationally connected business.

The signal: The deal reflects continued consolidation in the staffing sector, where firms are pairing Western recruitment with offshore delivery hubs to serve clients across time zones. For technology hiring in particular, buyers now weigh how a single partner handles both talent and service work.
