Eide Bailly buys affordable-housing specialist Loveridge Hunt

What each side brings: Loveridge Hunt specialises in the affordable housing industry, serving developers, builders, syndicators, investors, not-for-profit organisations, and housing authorities. Eide Bailly ranked No. 18 on Accounting Today 's 2026 Top 100 Firms list, reporting $761 million in revenue, with 436 partners and more than 3,500 employees across 50 offices.
What's the endgame? The deal deepens Eide Bailly's capabilities in a specialised niche. "Their specialized experience serving affordable housing organizations further enhances our capabilities," said chief executive officer Jeremy Hauk.

The expansion angle: The purchase also extends Eide Bailly's reach on the West Coast, adding a Washington-state base that complements earlier deals in California, Nevada, Hawaii, Texas, and Ohio. Loveridge Hunt's managing partner, Craig Lisko, cited "culture and relationships" as central to the decision.
The signal: Private equity money is accelerating consolidation among top US accounting firms, which are using acquisitions to buy specialised expertise rather than build it. Eide Bailly's run of deals shows how quickly backed firms can scale through niche targets like affordable housing.
