What's the deal? OTR SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired CCT FactoringDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s transportation portfolio for an undisclosed sum, moving its trucking clients onto OTR's factoring and banking platform. CCT is a subsidiary of Atlanta-based Coeur CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which will keep serving clients outside transportation.

The companies: OTR, founded in 2011 and based in Roswell, Georgia, is a freight factoring and transportation technology firm with over 350 employees. CCT, founded in 2020, provides commercial finance to small and medium-sized enterprises.

What changes for clients? Existing contracts, rates, and programs stay intact through the transition. Incoming clients gain access to OTR's 24/7/365 invoice approval system, which funds approved invoices immediately, plus the OTR Fuel Card and OTR Clutch business banking services.

The rationale: "Carriers depend on reliable funding to keep their businesses moving, and that guided our approach to this transition," said Grace Maher, OTR's chief operating officer. Coeur Capital partner Bud Crawford said the firm wanted transportation clients "to have a partner well-equipped to support their next stage of growth."

Why now? The deal, closed in under three months from letter of intent to full transition, is OTR's second factoring acquisition in under a year. It follows the November 2025 purchase of TruckSmarter's factoring and banking portfolio.

What's the endgame? "We intend to make OTR the financial and technology partner the industry turns to for what comes next," said chief executive officer Fritz Owens, pointing to strategic acquisitions and technology investment.

The signal: Back-to-back deals show OTR consolidating transportation factoring portfolios, betting that bundling fast funding with fuel cards and banking can lock in carriers in a fragmented, cash-flow-sensitive market.
