Net at Work buys Cloud 9 in its seventh deal of 2026

Who's involved? Net at Work is a fast-growing SMB technology advisor, application solution provider, and managed service provider (MSP). Cloud 9 is one of the original Acumatica partners; its employees will join Net at Work and keep serving existing clients.

What changes for customers? Cloud 9 clients gain access to Net at Work's Acumatica expertise and development resources, plus services spanning CRM, human resource management, cybersecurity, and AI integration. Founder Gregg Mercede will stay on to ensure a smooth transition.

"As one of the original Acumatica partners, Cloud 9 brings a team with deep expertise to our organization," said co-founder and co-chief executive officer Alexander Solomon.

The signal: The deal reflects steady consolidation among channel firms racing to add ERP depth and AI capabilities. Net at Work, ranked No. 221 on the CRN 2026 Solution Provider 500, is buying scale and specialist talent rather than building it in-house.
