Automation Anywhere buys Boost.ai to link conversation to back-office work

What's the deal? Automation Anywhere has agreed to acquire Boost.aiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an enterprise conversational and voice AI company, from Nordic CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Terms were undisclosed. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

Who's who? Automation Anywhere sells agentic automation and orchestration to thousands of global enterprises. Boost.ai builds voice and conversational AI for hundreds of customers, with strength in Europe and regulated sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, and insurance.

What changes? Boost.ai's platform supports more than 36 languages, meets GDPR and HIPAA requirements, and reaches a 90%+ resolution rate in production. Automation Anywhere plans to connect those conversations directly to middle- and back-office execution.

What's the endgame? The deal advances what Automation Anywhere calls the Autonomous Enterprise — an operating model running up to 80% autonomously or with AI assistance. "Every enterprise runs on three kinds of work: serving customers, supporting employees, and running the business," said chief executive officer Mihir Shukla.

Why now? It is the company's second AI acquisition in a year, following its purchase of Aisera in late 2025, which added enterprise knowledge and automated employee service. The latest deal extends that platform into customer-facing work.

The signal: The acquisition lands as the conversational AI market expands and enterprises push past single-task copilots toward end-to-end outcomes. "By joining Automation Anywhere, we can connect the conversation, including voice, directly to the systems and people who get the work done," said Boost.ai chief executive officer Jerry Haywood.
