What's the deal? Spanish digital-transformation firm Knowmad MoodDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired 100% of Argentine technology company CDA InformáticaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → for a fixed price of $14 million, plus an earn-out tied to a business plan running through 2026, 2027, and 2028. Founded in 1986 and based in Buenos Aires, CDA brings more than 500 professionals, over 70 large clients, and four decades of work across Latin America.
What's CDA's business? It serves big organisations in banking and financial services, insurance, telecoms, energy, oil and gas, automotive, health, and retail. Its work spans software, cloud and infrastructure, quality engineering and testing, and artificial intelligence, automation, and data, with operations in Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, and Peru.
By the numbers: CDA posted 2025 revenue above $22 million and EBITDA above $6 million. It begins consolidating into the group's accounts from October 1.
What's the endgame? The deal is the ninth acquisition Knowmad Mood has made since 2022, lifting its headcount above 3,500. The company aims to use CDA for cross-selling, delivery to European and North American clients, and joint growth in banking and financial services.
What changes? CDA keeps its brand and regional management team, led by Silvina Iglesias as vice-president, preserving client and staff relationships.
Why now? The purchase advances Knowmad Mood's 2025–2028 strategic plan, built on internationalisation and bolt-on deals that add scale and new markets. The firm closed 2025 with audited consolidated revenue of €270.1 million and targets €550 million in revenue and €48 million in normalised EBITDA by 2028.
The signal: European IT-services firms are increasingly turning to Latin America as a nearshore delivery base and a growth market. For Knowmad Mood, pro forma 2025 international revenue would rise to about 21.4% of group sales, against a 25% target — making CDA a sizeable step toward that goal.
