Try Dealroom →, a global corporate and fund services platform, into a single-asset continuation vehicle sponsored by a Sun Capital affiliate. The transaction, announced September 29, 2026, is structured as a buyout; financial terms were not disclosed.
What each side is: Sun Capital is a private equity firm that has invested in more than 570 companies since 1995. Anderson Global serves over 50,000 mostly small and mid-sized business customers with entity formation, tax, accounting, fund administration, and advisory services, working through more than 850 professionals across 15 offices.
By the numbers: Anderson Global's LTM EBITDA rose from $7.8 million when Sun Capital first invested in March 2023 to $39.4 million as of June 30, 2026 — a more than fivefold increase. The company also completed 14 add-on acquisitions during that stretch.
Why a continuation vehicle? The structure let Fund VIII limited partners cash out or roll their stakes into the new vehicle. "The Company has outperformed our base case," said Marc Leder, Sun Capital's co-chief executive officer.
Where it's growing: Under Sun Capital, Anderson Global expanded geographically, including opening shared service centres in Dubai and India. It also reorganised into three divisions and rebranded to sharpen its market position.
What's the endgame? Both sides frame the deal as fuel for more dealmaking. "The successful closing of the continuation vehicle gives Anderson Global the opportunity to build on our momentum and continue growing through strategic acquisitions," said Eric Lo, chief executive officer of Anderson Global.
The signal: Single-asset continuation vehicles have become a go-to tool for private equity firms wanting to hold onto strong performers past a fund's life while offering existing backers an exit. Sun Capital's move keeps a proven "buy and build" platform in-house rather than selling to a rival.
