Mark43 buys ForceMetrics to fold fragmented data into its public safety platform
What's the deal? Mark43 has acquired ForceMetrics, a startup that helps public safety agencies turn fragmented data into usable intelligence in the field. The companies announced the deal on September 28, 2026. Terms were not disclosed.
What does each company do? Mark43 sells an integrated public safety platform combining Records Management System (RMS), Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), and data analytics, and counts more than 300 agencies as customers. ForceMetrics connects information across disparate systems, jurisdictions, and technology generations, making it searchable, analysable, and available to AI.
What's the rationale? Mark43 helps agencies capture data and route it through dispatch, response, and investigations; ForceMetrics focuses on linking data across the systems agencies already use. Combined, they aim to give first responders more context in real time.
Why now? The acquisition follows a strategic partnership the two firms announced in May 2026, making this a natural next step.
What changes for customers? ForceMetrics will keep working across the technologies agencies use, now backed by Mark43's resources. Mark43 customers gain the ability to pull data from across their tech ecosystems into CAD and RMS workflows.
ForceMetrics founders Andre McGregor, Chris Kersulic, Brendan Cronin, Shane McGregor, and Jason Truppi will join Mark43. "Bringing ForceMetrics into Mark43 makes our platform even stronger," said Bob Hughes, chief executive officer of Mark43.
The signal: The deal reflects consolidation in public safety software, where vendors are racing to unify fragmented agency data and make it usable by AI — turning records already in agencies' hands into faster, better-informed decisions.
