Vietnam's Hung Thinh Incons lifts capital to $50M, targets social housing
What's the deal? Vietnamese construction firm Hung Thinh InconsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (HTN) has raised its charter capital to VND 1,336.7 billion after issuing nearly 44.6 million new shares. The move funds an expansion into the social and affordable housing segment.
The numbers: The company distributed the shares to 4,280 shareholders on September 11, 2026, at a 2:1 ratio and a par value of VND 10,000 each, for a total of roughly VND 445.6 billion. That lifted charter capital from VND 891.2 billion.
Where it came from: The raise drew entirely on equity — about VND 254.3 billion in undistributed after-tax profits, VND 159.9 billion in share premium, and VND 31.4 billion from its development investment fund. Using internal resources signals the firm is bolstering equity rather than adding debt.
Clearing the books: Hung Thinh Incons also repaid all previously issued bond packages, easing financial pressure and freeing capacity to allocate resources to future projects. It completed its 2021 cash dividend payment of 12% on June 24, 2026.
How business is doing: The company reported net revenue of VND 210.1 billion for the first half of 2026, with the second quarter alone contributing nearly VND 180 billion. Gross profit reached VND 106.8 billion, more than triple the year-earlier figure, and net profit after tax came in at VND 18.3 billion.
Cash position: Net cash flow from operations rose 22.1% year on year to VND 363.6 billion in the first half. That gives the firm more room to fund construction, settle obligations, and pursue new opportunities.
The signal: By simultaneously raising equity, clearing its bonds, and paying dividends, Hung Thinh Incons is rebuilding its balance sheet as it pivots toward Vietnam's social and affordable housing market.
