Charles Schwab Bank opens Fort Worth hub after helping launch 5,000 businesses

What's the deal? Charles Schwab Bank has partnered with The DEC Network to open The DEC Network at Fort Worth, a hub offering entrepreneurs and small business owners education, mentorship, networking, and resources. The location sits at 600 Bryan Ave., Suite 220, in the South Main neighbourhood.

What's on offer? The hub provides financial and business-growth programming, personalised coaching, and events supporting innovation. Entrepreneurs can connect directly with Charles Schwab employees who share expertise to help them navigate challenges and pursue long-term growth. Spanish-language programs will also be available.

Who's behind it? The DEC Network is a Dallas-based nonprofit that supports new businesses, backed by several banks. It also received $500,000 over two years from the Fort Worth Local Development Corp., a nonprofit set up by the city for economic development.

Why now? The expansion builds on an existing collaboration. In 2025, Charles Schwab Bank took naming rights to The DEC Network's RedBird center, now The DEC Network Powered by Charles Schwab Bank.

What's the endgame? Since the partnership began, The DEC Network says it has helped launch more than 5,000 businesses and connected entrepreneurs with over $3.4 million in capital.

The signal: The move deepens the local footprint of Charles Schwab, which relocated its headquarters to nearby Westlake in 2021 and now employs more than 7,000 in North Texas. For a firm with a $185 billion market capitalisation, the Fort Worth hub extends its community reach beyond corporate ties like the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club.
