Why now? Demand for alternatives among wealthy private investors is climbing. According to the 2025 EY Global Wealth Research Report, 51% of wealthy clients globally already hold some exposure to alternatives, and 61% say it is important to discuss them with their advisor — a figure that rises above 75% for the wealthiest segment.
What's the endgame? Chubb Wealth is positioning the series as simplified, institutional-quality access to private markets, an asset class that typically comes with heavy process and resource requirements. The firm has co-created an educational program with S64 and KKR to deepen its advisors' grasp of the strategies.
What's next? The launch is billed as a first step. "This marks an important step in our strategic partnership, and further solutions are already in development to expand access to additional alternative strategies and asset classes," said Ben Rudd, general manager of Chubb Wealth.
The signal: Evergreen structures — open-ended vehicles that let investors enter and exit more flexibly than traditional closed-end funds — are becoming the default channel for private wealth to reach private markets. "Evergreen fund portfolio solutions are quickly becoming the operating standard for private wealth access to private markets," said Tarun Nagpal, founder and chief executive officer of S64. The tie-up shows insurers and wealth platforms racing to package institutional private-market strategies for high-net-worth clients in Asia.
