Keyridge opens 30-year systematic strategy to UK investors via new equity fund
What's the deal? Keyridge Asset ManagementDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has launched the Keyridge Systematic Core Global Equity fund, an Irish UCITS fund aimed at UK investors. It seeks a total return through capital and income, investing mostly in developed market equities.
What's the endgame? The fund aims to bridge active funds and trackers, applying active insights systematically while limiting deviations from the benchmark. Its in-house process screens more than 1,800 companies on factors such as value, growth, quality, and momentum.
How it works: Factor weights adjust as levels of differentiation change. Emerging markets are not expected to exceed 10% of net asset value.
"Rather than relying on a small number of big investment calls, we make many smaller, repeatable decisions across the investment universe," said Alan Duffy, head of strategic investment at Keyridge. He said the approach seeks incremental returns "while controlling the unintended risks that can make traditional active performance less predictable."
Why now? Keyridge has run systematic strategies for clients for nearly three decades. The new UCITS structure makes that long-established approach available to UK investors for the first time.
Rob Williams, chief commercial officer, called it a "style-neutral strategy that complements portfolios with geographic, thematic or stylistic tilts."
The signal: The launch reflects continued demand for products that sit between passive tracking and high-conviction active management, offering broad market exposure with tighter risk control.
