Transwarp targets $110M in Hong Kong AI software IPO
What's the deal? Transwarp, a Shanghai-based AI infrastructure software company, has launched a Hong Kong IPO, offering 14 million shares at HK$49-HK$61 to raise up to HK$854.7 million (roughly $110 million). Trading is set to begin on September 21.
Why now? Transwarp is tapping public markets while investor appetite for AI-themed listings remains strong. Pricing is due on September 17.
Who's backing it? The company has secured cornerstone investors, including Electronic Channel — a unit of IEIT Systems — and Luoyang Science Technology Innovate. That means part of the share sale is effectively pre-committed before pricing.
The signal: Cornerstone commitments and a tight pricing range can shape how the stock trades from day one, giving early stability to a listing riding the broader wave of demand for AI infrastructure plays.
