Why now? Founded in 2025, Passabot began as a consumer tool that let users find the cheapest airfare via WhatsApp. Within months, it spotted a bigger opening: the fragmented technology used by travel agents.
What's the endgame? PassHub aggregates suppliers and consolidators so agents no longer hop between systems to find the best fare. "Buying with us, the agency guarantees the lowest price," said chief executive officer Alan Matheus (translated from Portuguese). Airfare dominates transactions today, but the company is expanding into lodging, insurance, and road transport.
By the numbers: PassHub launched in December 2025, reaching 100 agencies in its first month, 200 in January, and 400 in February. It now counts more than 2,000 registered agencies and has processed over R$30 million in transactions — enough to overtake the original consumer product in revenue and sales.
The startup had earlier raised R$1 million to build Passabot but redirected most of its team to the B2B business around March. Passabot will continue serving consumers while PassHub anchors the agency strategy.
What's the product? Beyond fares, PassHub aims to become a broader technology layer for agencies — bundling payments, automation, customer service, artificial intelligence, and operations management. The new funding will accelerate platform development, expand the partner base, and advance AI features.
The signal: At roughly $1.4 million, the round sits in the lower band of early-stage deals globally, but its speed reflects strong pull from a market Matheus argues "stopped in the 2000s."
