Try Dealroom → (LOTP), one of the largest outdoor power equipment dealers serving Louisville and the surrounding region. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions. Terms were not disclosed.

Who's involved? LOTP was founded and led by Stacey and Ryan English, growing across two locations into a destination for homeowners, landscape professionals, and commercial turf operators. Buyer Spark OPE VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, operating as Spark Dealer Group, runs outdoor power equipment dealerships and is backed by permanent capital.

Why it matters: The acquisition marks Spark's entry into Kentucky and the broader Ohio Valley, extending it beyond its Southeastern footprint. LOTP's two locations give Spark a base to grow in the region.

What's the endgame? Upon close, Spark will operate 22 dealership locations across four states, up from 20 across three. Spark buys businesses with the intention of holding them indefinitely, partnering with owners seeking continuity for employees and customers.

What changes for customers? Little, by design. The business will continue under the Louisville Outdoor Turf Products and Shelbyville Outdoor Turf Products names, with the same service.

"What sets this business apart is its extraordinary standard of customer service, the depth of its vendor relationships, and a genuine sense of pride in the community it serves," said Jonathan Salinas, chief executive officer of Spark OPE Ventures.

"We chose Spark because they share our belief that great businesses are built by great people," added Ryan English, co-founder and owner of LOTP.

The signal: Permanent-capital operators are steadily rolling up family-run dealerships, offering aging owners a succession path while consolidating a fragmented equipment retail market one region at a time.
