Vantage Data Centers CEO backs luxury car platform duPont REGISTRY

What's the deal? duPont REGISTRY Group (dRG)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a digital platform for the high-end automotive market, has secured a strategic investment from the family office of Sureel Choksi, president and chief executive officer of Vantage Data Centers. The deal, announced in August 2026, is a private placement. Choksi is also a race car driver and car collector.

What does dRG do? The company operates a marketplace for buying and selling luxury and exotic vehicles, drawing on a global client and collector car database. It also runs more than 120 events a year that draw close to 120,000 attendees. dRG says it facilitates billions of dollars in transactions.

What's the endgame? The company plans to scale the technology and infrastructure behind its platform and expand its reach. Choksi's experience running Vantage — an operator of large-scale data centres — is meant to sharpen that focus.

Why now? dRG has spent more than 40 years serving collectors and enthusiasts, and is positioning itself as an AI-powered, data-driven marketplace. The investment adds a technology operator to its backer roster as it pushes to scale.

"I am very impressed with how Antoine and his team utilize technology, proprietary data and AI to transform how clients transact and engage with luxury and exotic cars," Choksi said, adding that dRG has "a strong foundation and market position, with exciting growth opportunities ahead."

Chief executive officer Antoine Tessier said the deal "continues to validate that we've built a durable business with significant runway ahead."

The signal: The tie-up links two worlds — the data-centre infrastructure powering AI and the luxury car trade — and reflects how established niche marketplaces are recasting themselves around proprietary data and technology to court operator-investors.
