What's the endgame? The Nashua, New Hampshire-based company plans to use the added capacity to invest in inventory, support larger customer programs, and respond to opportunities across the global supply chain.

By the numbers: Founded in 2014, NewPower has grown to 14 offices across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, with $5 billion in annual sales and more than $1 billion in inventory worldwide.

Why now? "In today's rapidly changing supply chain environment, financial strength and access to capital play a critical role in securing inventory and maintaining continuity of supply," the company said.

Chief Executive Officer Carleton Dufoe said the facility "gives us additional capacity to secure inventory, support larger strategic programs, and respond faster when opportunities arise across the market."

The investor's view: "Our expanded partnership with NewPower reflects our confidence in the company as it executes on behalf of its clients," said Jason Upham, senior vice president at Citizens.

The signal: At $750 million, the facility ranks in the 95th percentile of debt rounds over the trailing 48 months — a scale that underscores how capital access has become a competitive edge in the electronics distribution business.
