Who's involved? SupportZebra, founded in 2011, provides 24/7 customer experience, technical support, and back-office services to more than 40 clients in supply chain, automotive, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, and healthcare. It runs delivery centres in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, and Zapopan, Mexico, with more than 1,300 employees.
What's the endgame? The deal more than doubles Lean Solutions Group's Philippines workforce to over 2,000 people across three cities. It also extends the company's "expert-in-the-loop" model — pairing skilled professionals with AI tools — into automotive, fintech, and other high-growth verticals.
Why the Philippines? SupportZebra has led its market there for more than a decade, and the country is one of the world's premier hubs for technology and English-speaking talent. Chief executive officer Jack Freker called it "one of the fastest-growing regions in our business."
Why it matters? SupportZebra's client attrition rate sits below 1%. "SupportZebra has spent 14 years doing a hard thing: building service teams so deeply embedded in client operations that their relationship churn remains structurally among the lowest in the industry," Freker said.
The signal: The acquisition reflects how BPO providers are consolidating around AI-enabled delivery, betting that combining human expertise with automation is the way to serve regulated, high-growth industries at scale.
