Thirona lands €7.5M to scale its AI lung-imaging platform

Its lung quantification platform, LungQ, runs AI algorithms trained on disease-specific datasets and has analysed over 15 million images.

What's the endgame? Thirona says the money will accelerate adoption of its innovations for precision medicine. The company claims its technology can improve the precision of bronchoscopic and surgical lung procedures, including robotic ones, making them less invasive for patients.
