Machine Investment Group closes second fund at $350M hard cap

The firm has raised an additional $120 million in co-investments to date.

Who backed it? The fund drew new and returning institutional investors, including public and private pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and private investors.

By the numbers: Fund II outpaced Machine's debut fund, which closed in 2022 with $246 million in primary commitments and $208 million in co-investments.

What they're saying: "We are humbled by the support of our investment partners, including both returning Fund I investors and a number of new institutional relationships, which allowed us to reach our hard cap for Fund II," the firm said.

The signal: A first-time fund graduating to a larger, oversubscribed sequel signals durable institutional appetite for the firm's real estate strategy, even in a cautious fundraising environment.
