The Curve launches global equities fund with NZ$500 minimum for women investors
What's the deal? The CurveDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a New Zealand financial education platform, has launched The Curve Fund, a global equities fund designed with women investors in mind. Co-founder Victoria Harris says the fund carries a NZ$500 minimum investment and is open to everyone.
Why now? The move follows The Curve's acquisition of Elevation Funds Management, now renamed The Curve Investments. The Elevation Global Shares Fund has become The Curve Fund, with its portfolio transitioning towards The Curve's approach while keeping a similar global equities strategy.
What's the endgame? The Curve's shift from podcast and courses into fund management marks an attempt to convert financial education directly into managed money — a bid to close the persistent gap between what women learn and where they invest.
How it invests: The fund favours female-led, founder-led and "future-focused" businesses — an approach Harris calls its "FFF." Future-focused holdings could span AI, healthcare, and sustainability.
The NZ$500 minimum reflects feedback from The Curve's audience, many of whom believe they lack the money to start. "There's still a mentality of, 'When I get rich, I'll invest.' But investing is how you get rich; it's not what you do when you're rich," Harris says.
