He added that combining teams is "a meaningful step up for the security of the state's business community."

What changes for customers? The immediate priority is continuity. Existing Infinitum customers will keep their local contacts, with no immediate changes to service delivery.

All Infinitum employees move to Fuse ownership but will operate under their own brand for the short term. Within 12 to 24 months, the business will transition to a single banner in phases, with focus on protecting customer relationships and integrating teams.

The signal: The deal reflects continued consolidation among Australian MSPs, as larger providers absorb regional specialists to broaden their geographic reach and pool cyber security capabilities. For Fuse, Infinitum is a route into the Mid West; for its new customers, the promise is more resources and expanded service capability over time.
