Rubrik commits £375M to UK, names London its EMEA headquarters
What's the deal? Rubrik, the US-based cybersecurity and AI operations company, has committed more than £375 million to the UK over five years and named London its EMEA headquarters. The investment will fund hiring across sales, marketing, and customer support as it scales across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Why London, not an EU capital? Rubrik now has a compliant route into the EU sovereign cloud through AWS, yet it is anchoring its regional headquarters outside the bloc. The UK cannot offer EU data residency guarantees post-Brexit, but it brings deep technical talent, a large financial services and public sector customer base, and proximity to existing clients.

It went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2024, raising $752 million, and now pushes into AI oversight via its Rubrik Agent Cloud platform, which audits AI agent actions and can undo their mistakes.
"The UK is one of the world's leading technology markets and has become increasingly important to Rubrik's long-term growth," says Sinha, chief executive, chairman, and co-founder.
By the numbers: Rubrik serves around 2,000 customers across EMEA, with nearly half using three or more of its products. Recent UK customers include Harbour Energy, Manchester City Council, the Scottish Government, and Fortegra Financial Corporation. The company said its UK business delivered a record first quarter.
The signal: The cyber resilience market is getting crowded. Cohesity folded Veritas' enterprise data protection business into its platform in 2025, and Veeam raised $2 billion in secondary financing at a $15 billion valuation. None of Rubrik's closest rivals has announced a comparable EMEA headquarters commitment. "Rubrik's decision to make London its European headquarters is a vote of confidence in Britain's talent," said Kanishka Narayan, UK minister for AI and online safety.
