Tilion is building 'unblockable' browser infrastructure for AI agents, letting development teams run millions of automated operations a day without hands-on supervision. Its core is Fortress, an open-source recompiled Chromium engine that alters the browser fingerprint at the C++ level so agents and scrapers can reach pages that normally block standard automation tools.

As AI agents move from demos to doing real work on the open web, most get treated as second-class visitors and blocked outright. Tilion is betting the bottleneck for agentic automation isn't the model — it's the browser layer underneath it.

Founded in 2026 in San Francisco by Arman Luthra, Md Shahrier Islam Arham, Kazi Fardinul Hoque and Abdul Basit Tonmoy, the company set out to stop AI agents being treated as 'second-class' citizens on the web. The founding team frames the problem as infrastructure, not scripting.

The four-person founding team splits cleanly across CEO, CTO, CPO and a dedicated scientist — a signal they're taking the low-level engineering seriously rather than wrapping an off-the-shelf headless browser. They're building in the Y Combinator Fall 2026 batch.
