Semblance Health turns care-team requests into tracked commitments with an owner, a due time and a visible status. Clinicians speak a request or forward a message, Semblance drafts the commitment, and a task closes only when evidence such as a reviewed lab result or a signed order is recorded.
Requests get lost when patients are handed between physicians, nurses and case managers across shifts. Semblance reads orders, results and schedules from electronic health records through SMART on FHIR, so closure is tied to the official record without replacing existing tools.
Semblance Health is based in Austin and was founded in 2026. It says its goal is to roughly halve the time clinicians spend chasing patient statuses.
Co-founder BJ Adesoji previously worked at IBM, Databand and Crest Agro Products Farms. Dealroom lists Chris Collins as the other founder.
