What they're building

Sanvo Technology builds software for workforce housing in Southeast Asia. Its Sanvo Ledger records beds, documents, payroll and quotas in one auditable ledger, with real-time occupancy data, alerts when documents expire and audit trails for maintenance and compliance.

Why now

Employers in Malaysia must house workers in line with regulations such as Act 446, and housing operators have to show they comply. A shared record lets operators, employers and regulators check occupancy and compliance from the same data.

The backstory

Sanvo is based in Kuala Lumpur and was founded in 2026 by Chan Tzu Jian, the chief executive, and Tengku M. Ryan Faiz, the chief strategy officer. It is aimed at centralised labour quarters operators, industrial employers, government-linked corporations and regulators.

Why this team

Chan Kok Long, a co-founder of the Malaysian payments company iPay88, is a strategic adviser. Dealroom has no further background on the founders.
