The company
Reround is a Finnish platform that makes reusing building components as straightforward as buying new. It pairs software, a marketplace and hands-on implementation — with an app already live on the App Store — to strip out the bottlenecks that usually kill reuse in construction and real estate.
Construction is one of the most material- and emissions-heavy sectors, yet reuse still loses out to new stock on convenience alone. Reround's bet is that fixing the logistics and discoverability of reclaimed components is what finally tips cost and carbon in reuse's favour.
The company says it set out to remove the practical friction that keeps builders defaulting to new materials, even when reuse makes financial and environmental sense. Founded in 2026 in Helsinki by Lotta Kauppinen and Simo Skogberg, it's building at the intersection of marketplace, software and on-the-ground delivery.
Founders Lotta Kauppinen and Simo Skogberg are tackling reuse as an execution problem, not just a listings one — shipping a live app alongside the marketplace rather than waiting for scale. That operational bias is what reuse in construction has long lacked.
