The company
NEMA Network is a marketplace that connects skilled nursing facilities, hospices and residential care homes for the elderly with pre-credentialed non-emergency medical transport operators. Facilities post trips, vetted operators fulfil them at pre-set rates by county, and recurring trips and route planning cut empty mileage.
The company says traditional brokers are poorly suited to the logistics healthcare facilities need. A direct marketplace with fixed county rates gives both sides a known price before a trip is booked.
NEMA Network is based in Antioch, United States, and was founded in 2026. Co-founder Tanner Leishman also owns Bayline Medical Transport, and the platform came out of that work in the industry.
Tanner Leishman runs a transport operator of the kind the platform serves and previously worked at Vivint.
