Alae AI connects data scattered across a company's documents, emails and CRM into one knowledge layer that runs on local AI models on the customer's own infrastructure. Its products are Cortex, a company knowledge graph that answers questions with sources, Imago, which preserves the expertise of key people, and Acta, which turns that knowledge into automated workflows and dashboards.
Companies in regulated fields such as law want to use generative AI without sending data to outside services. Running models locally keeps data, models and access rights under the company's control.
Alae AI is based in Frankfurt and was founded in 2026. It sells enterprise software to data-sensitive organisations.
Founder Malte Luess studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and previously worked at Berenberg Bank and Nordesign.
