Historical Background
abrdn Capital Partners LLP is the alternative investment fund manager and a wholly owned subsidiary of abrdn plc, a global investment company. The parent company, abrdn plc, was formed in 2017 from the merger of Standard Life and Aberdeen Asset Management, and rebranded from Standard Life Aberdeen to abrdn in 2021.
