About ZQGAME
ZQGame Global serves as the international interactive entertainment development and publishing arm of its parent company, Shenzhen Zqgame Co., Ltd. Established in 2011 and headquartered in El Segundo, California, ZQGame Global focuses on publishing mobile games for iOS and Android platforms. The parent company, Shenzhen Zqgame, was founded in 2003 in Shenzhen, China, and is a publicly-traded entity on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. It was one of the earliest domestic game companies in China to combine development, operation, and distribution and holds the distinction of being the first A-share listed game company in the country.
The company's business model is centered on developing and publishing free-to-play mobile games, generating revenue through in-app purchases. ZQGame operates on a global scale, with its products exported to numerous countries, including the United States, Germany, Korea, and Japan. The parent company's strategy has evolved to encompass a "Game plus Cloud Service" model, expanding into cloud gaming, cloud computing, blockchain applications, and digital twin businesses alongside its core mobile and "red games"—titles based on Chinese patriotic themes. As of March 2025, Shenzhen ZQGame reported a trailing 12-month revenue of approximately $28 million.
ZQGame Global has published several mobile titles, including the card battle-strategy RPG *Pocket Knights*, the anime-inspired action RPG *Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard*, and the cosmic RPG *Celestia - Broken Sky*. *Soul Guardians*, released in 2014, combined action RPG mechanics with card collecting elements. *Celestia - Broken Sky*, launched in 2015, was noted for its 3D graphics built on the Unity engine and a turn-based combat system where skill-charging amplifies attacks. *Pocket Knights* is a fantasy card battle RPG that includes kingdom management and allows players to summon and evolve over 200 different knights. The parent company has also received licenses for new titles in the Chinese market, such as *Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game*.
