Zhida Technology operates on a "three-in-one" business model that integrates products, services, and a digital platform. Its primary business involves providing home charging piles and installation services to major automakers. The company's client portfolio includes prominent brands like BYD, GWM, Ford, and Volkswagen. In addition to hardware, Zhida offers a digital platform for device management and has developed an automatic charging robot. Revenue is primarily generated from the sale of smart home EV chargers and related accessories, which account for about 90% of product sales revenue. The company also has an app that allows users to control charging, monitor safety, and share their private charging piles.

The company has experienced significant growth, shipping 1.3 million household EV chargers globally between January 2021 and March 2025. It holds a significant market share, ranking first in China's home charging sector. In October 2025, Zhida Technology was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company has established a production base in Anhui with an annual capacity projected to reach 2 million units in 2025, adhering to IATF 16949 automotive industry standards. To expand its global footprint, Zhida established ZD Energy, an overseas subsidiary in Singapore in 2022, and has begun setting up manufacturing sites in the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
