ZeroPort is a cybersecurity company that provides hardware-based solutions for secure remote network access. It was founded in 2023 by CEO Joseph Gertz and CTO Lavi Friedman, both of whom are alumni of an elite Israeli military technology unit with expertise in cybersecurity and hardware. The company's inception was driven by the urgent need for secure remote access to critical systems without the vulnerabilities inherent in software-based solutions like VPNs, a challenge highlighted during the October 7 war.

The core of ZeroPort's offering is a patented, hardware-based architecture that physically air-gaps sensitive systems from cyber threats. Instead of exposing TCP/IP services, the company's appliances transmit only human-interface signals, which prevents malware infiltration and data exfiltration. This creates a zero-exposure, zero-attack-surface environment. The business model targets organizations of all sizes, from growing businesses to those with distributed workforces and multiple remote locations, including highly secured environments like government agencies, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure. Its clientele already includes Israel's electric grid (IEC), Elbit Systems, the Israel Water Authority, and Singapore's Cyber Security Agency.

ZeroPort's product suite is modular to fit various network topologies and scales. The flagship "Fantom" appliance enables secure remote access for many concurrent users, including those on BYOD or issued devices. Other products include "Polter" for one-to-one air-gapped access, "Casper" for passive network detection, and "Roamer," a zero-client workstation with no operating system or writeable memory for enhanced endpoint security.
