A significant milestone occurred on February 15, 2018, when Oracle announced its acquisition of Zenedge for an undisclosed amount, completing the transaction by March 5, 2018. The acquisition was a strategic move by Oracle to integrate Zenedge's network and infrastructure security capabilities into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform. This integration aimed to provide Oracle's customers with enhanced protection against modern digital threats, combining Zenedge's WAF and DDoS mitigation with Oracle's existing cloud services and Domain Name System (DNS) capabilities. Following the acquisition, the Zenedge Cybersecurity Suite was rebranded as Oracle Dyn Web Application Security.
