Zelros, acquired by Earnix in April 2025, is an artificial intelligence software vendor that provides solutions for the insurance and banking industries. Founded in 2016 by Christophe Bourguignat (CEO), Fabien Vauchelles (CTO), and Damien Philippon (COO), the company originated in Paris, France. The founders, who are experts in data, machine learning, and digital technologies, previously worked at AXA's Data Innovation Lab and decided to create Zelros with the vision that algorithms would fundamentally change the insurance sector.

The company's main offering is an AI and LLM-powered SaaS platform designed to enhance the distribution of insurance products. It acts as a virtual assistant or "Copilot" for insurance advisors, agents, and customer service representatives. The platform analyzes various data types, including unstructured data like voice calls, to provide real-time, personalized recommendations for up-selling and cross-selling, as well as to facilitate needs analysis and automated underwriting. This enables insurance and banking professionals to offer a more tailored and efficient customer experience across multiple channels. The goal is to boost client acquisition, agent productivity, and policyholder retention. Zelros serves clients such as CNP Assurances, MAIF, BPCE, AXA, and Matmut.

Zelros secured a total of $16.5 million in funding over two rounds, including a $11 million Series A in February 2021, which was led by BGV. The funding was aimed at accelerating European development and entering the North American market, with a new headquarters established in Montreal. In April 2025, Earnix, a provider of AI-driven solutions for pricing and underwriting, announced its acquisition of Zelros. The integration of Zelros's generative AI recommendation engine with Earnix's predictive AI platform is intended to create an end-to-end solution for decision-making, from risk assessment to customer engagement.
