Noxtua (formerly Xayn) is a Berlin Legal AI scale-up founded from Oxford/Imperial research by Dr Leif-Nissen Lundbæk and Prof. Michael Huth, offering jurisdiction-specific Legal AI Workspaces for research, analysis and drafting grounded in curated publisher data rather than LLM-only answers. Product partners include C.H.BECK (Beck-Noxtua), MANZ and Helbing Lichtenhahn; the company cites 30,000+ users, ~100 employees and six European locations, with certifications including ISO 27001 and BSI C5. After a 2025 Series B that was then Europe’s largest Legal AI round, Noxtua closed a Series C in September 2026 totaling more than €100 million in which C.H.BECK became majority shareholder and MANZ joined, while some earlier VC and strategic holders exited as the company deepened publisher partnerships.
