woom is an Austrian bicycle manufacturer founded in 2013 and headquartered in Klosterneuburg. The company has established itself as a global leader in designing and producing bicycles specifically tailored for children and young riders. Each woom bike is engineered from the ground up to meet the ergonomic, developmental, and safety needs of kids, with approximately 90 percent of components custom-built to optimize weight, handling, and comfort.

The product range spans six bike sizes, covering all stages from toddlers to teenagers. Categories include balance bikes for first-time riders, lightweight pedal bikes for everyday use, mountain bikes under the OFF and OFF AIR series, urban and cargo bikes in the NOW line, and electric-assist models in the UP range. This comprehensive lineup supports progression in riding skills as children grow.

woom bikes are, on average, 40 percent lighter than standard children’s models, enhancing maneuverability, balance training, and ride enjoyment. Safety and confidence are central to the design, which features child-appropriate geometry, intuitive braking systems, and durable yet lightweight materials.

Design and R&D are carried out in Austria, while production is distributed across selected partners in Europe and Asia. The company now serves more than 30 countries and produces several hundred thousand bikes annually. With a workforce of over 250 employees, woom continues to expand its reach and reputation for delivering high-quality, kid-centric cycling solutions.
