About Wikifarmer

Wikifarmer is a Greek agritech company founded in 2017 by Ilias Sousis and Petros that evolved from a free agricultural-knowledge library—used by more than 12 million visitors in 17 languages—into an AI-powered B2B operating system for agricultural trade. The platform connects food businesses with verified producers and uses AI for price intelligence and market forecasting, automated buyer–supplier matching on specifications and certifications, and transaction tools covering RFQs, documentation, credit risk and trade execution, with a “from learning to earning” path so farmers who learn on the knowledge platform can also sell. Together with Piraeus Bank it launched FarmClick, a digital marketplace for agricultural inputs and services in Greece. In March 2026 Wikifarmer raised €7.1 million ($7.7 million) co-led by Brighteye Ventures and Piraeus Bank, with Point Nine Capital and Metavallon VC, bringing total funding to about €15.6 million ($18 million) to expand the AI trading platform and producer networks in Latin America and Africa and scale FarmClick.
