About Vuno

Vuno Inc. is a South Korean company, founded in December 2014 by Yeha Lee, Hyun-Jun Kim, and Kyuhwan Jung, that develops artificial intelligence-based medical solutions. The company went public via an IPO on the KOSDAQ stock exchange in February 2021. Vuno's business model is centered on providing AI-driven software that analyzes medical data, including images and biosignals, to assist healthcare professionals in diagnosis, screening, and decision-making. Its clients are primarily hospitals and other healthcare institutions. The company generates revenue through a subscription-based model for its software solutions, which are designed to integrate with existing clinical workflows like PACS and EHR systems.

The company's mission is to "View the Invisible, Know the Unknown" by applying AI technology to solve medical ambiguities. One of its first significant achievements was the development of VUNO Med®-BoneAge™, which became the first AI-based medical device approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in Korea. Over the years, Vuno has secured numerous regulatory approvals, including CE marks for multiple products, and FDA 510(k) clearances for its VUNO Med®-DeepBrain™, VUNO Med®-Chest X-ray™ Triage, and a Breakthrough Device designation for VUNO Med®-DeepCARS®.

Vuno offers a portfolio of AI solutions. The VUNO Med® platform includes products like VUNO Med®-DeepBrain® for analyzing brain MRI scans to assist in diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases, and VUNO Med®-LungCT AI™, which detects pulmonary nodules in chest CTs. Other key products include VUNO Med®-Chest X-ray™, which identifies abnormalities in chest radiographs, and VUNO Med®-DeepCARS®, an early warning system that predicts the risk of cardiac arrest using patients' vital signs from electronic medical records. These tools are designed to quantify medical data, helping to improve diagnostic precision and reduce costs.
