Voltz operates in the electric vehicle market, specifically focusing on the production and sale of electric motorcycles and scooters. The company sells electric vehicles and accessories, and also provides technical support through a mobile application. This connectivity allows Voltz to offer competitive financing and insurance rates, provide anti-theft measures, and give riders feedback on their driving safety. The company has also explored a Battery-as-a-Service model, selling motorcycles without batteries and offering battery swapping stations.

The company's product line includes electric scooters like the EV1 and motorcycle models such as the EVS, EVS Sport, and EVS Work. These vehicles are equipped with smart controllers that send data to the Voltz cloud, enabling features like battery status monitoring and location tracking via a mobile app. For instance, the EVS model has a top speed of 120 km/h and a range of up to 180 km. Voltz also developed an electric cargo trike called "Miles".

In May 2021, Voltz secured a significant investment of R$100 million, led by Creditas, to fuel its expansion. This led to the opening of a factory in Manaus in May 2022, with the aim of increasing local production and scaling up to 15,000 units per month. However, the company has faced significant financial difficulties. In November 2023, with a reported debt of R$335.1 million, Voltz filed for judicial recovery to protect itself from creditors amid numerous lawsuits and complaints about delivery delays. The company's sales figures dropped sharply in 2023, and its operations are currently suspended to facilitate financial recovery.
