Videotto Pte Ltd. is a Singapore-based technology company developing artificial intelligence-driven video editing software for content creators and marketers. Founded in 2024 by 18-year-old entrepreneurs Tay Yao Ming, the CEO, and Ian Lee, the CTO, the company aims to simplify video content production. The concept originated from CEO Tay Yao Ming's personal experience of spending 20 hours editing a single podcast episode into shorter clips for social media. This inefficiency sparked the idea to build an automated platform with Lee. In October 2025, Videotto secured an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round from East Ventures, a prominent Southeast Asian venture capital firm. The investment decision was notably swift, occurring just a day after East Ventures' Co-Founder, Willson Cuaca, heard the pitch at an entrepreneurs' dialogue. The core team also includes two other young AI specialists, Felix Isaac Lim and Chong Kah Hian. The company publicly debuted its technology at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) in October 2025. The firm's flagship product is an AI-native platform that transforms long-form video and audio content, such as podcasts, into numerous short, shareable clips optimized for social media channels like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The software automates the entire workflow, from identifying the most engaging moments (AI clip detection) and auto-editing to adding dynamic captions and allowing for brand customization with logos and color schemes. It learns a user's editing style over time to improve its output and provides performance insights to help creators understand which clips perform best. The business model is primarily subscription-based, offering different service tiers to a client base ranging from individual podcasters to larger media organizations.
