In April 2012, Vette Corp. was acquired by The Heico Companies LLC, a Chicago-based parent holding company. Following this acquisition, Vette Corp. was merged with Wakefield Solutions to form Wakefield-Vette, combining their respective expertise in thermal management. This strategic consolidation was intended to create a stronger presence in the thermal management market. The merged entity, Wakefield-Vette, operates under The Heico Companies' Thermal Solutions Segment (TSS).

The company's product portfolio is extensive, including heat sinks, heat pipes, fans, thermal interface materials, liquid cold plates, and coolant distribution units. A significant division of the company is Coolcentric™, which focuses on liquid cooling systems for data centers. Launched in February 2010, the Coolcentric division markets the LiquiCool® line of products, which includes a rear-door heat exchanger designed to reduce energy consumption and support high power densities in server racks. These systems are engineered to lower data center cooling costs significantly by utilizing water-cooled heat exchangers at the rack level. Vette Corp. serves a wide array of industries, including information technology, telecommunications, renewable energy, aerospace/defense, medical, and consumer electronics.
