The company's business model targets two distinct markets: organic waste management and the production of polymeric materials. It provides a circular economy solution to clients, primarily in the agri-food industry, by installing proprietary, automated containers called 'VE-Box' at their facilities. These systems use specialized bacteria to digest organic waste on-site, a process that takes less than 24 hours and eliminates up to 97% of the organic matter, thereby reducing clients' waste management and transportation costs. The primary output of this process is Polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), a bioplastic. VEnvirotech then extracts and formulates this raw bioplastic, marketing it as BEO, for various applications.

The resulting PHA bioplastic, BEO, is positioned as a substitute for conventional plastics like polypropylene and polyethylene. Its key attributes are being 100% biodegradable in various environments (soil, marine, industrial compost) and biocompatible, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. These include packaging for food, cosmetics, and industrial goods, as well as uses in agriculture (mulch films), textiles, and high-value sectors like healthcare for sutures and drug carriers. The company has engaged in pilot programs and collaborations with major corporations such as Nestlé, PepsiCo, Calidad Pascual, and Grupo Damm. Following a significant funding round of €11 million in 2021, VEnvirotech has been scaling its production and R&D efforts, including industrial doctorate projects with universities to refine its technology.
