VedaBio is a biotechnology company founded in 2021 by Anurup Ganguli and Rashid Bashir that is developing a new paradigm in molecular detection. The company, formerly known as LabSimply, launched from stealth in October 2023 with over $40 million in initial funding led by OMX Ventures.

The company is led by President and CEO Frederic Sweeney, PhD, who brings extensive experience from roles at MeMed Diagnostics, bioMérieux, and T2 Biosystems.
