VAIM Co., Ltd. is a South Korean biotechnology company specializing in human tissue regeneration products for the medical aesthetics market. Founded in 2014 by CEO Geun-poong Kim, the company was formerly known as Raum Medical before rebranding to VAIM, which stands for "Value Improvement." Kim, who has been researching biodegradable polymers since the 2000s, started the company as a one-person venture and began manufacturing after securing a key patent in 2017.

The company's core business revolves around the development, manufacturing, and marketing of its flagship product line, Juvelook®. This line features autologous collagen-generating fillers based on a patented technology using poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA). The products are designed to stimulate the body's own collagen production for skin rejuvenation, offering a safe and lasting effect for improving wrinkles and restoring volume. The product portfolio includes 'Juvelook' and 'Juvelook Volume', which were previously branded as 'Juvelook' and 'Lenisna'. The technology utilizes porous, mesh-like particles that break down evenly, allowing clinicians to tailor tissue response and durability.

VAIM operates on a B2B model, serving healthcare companies and medical aesthetics clinics. The company has demonstrated significant growth, having shipped over two million vials by September 2024 and celebrating the one-millionth vial milestone in August 2024. Headquartered in Daejeon, South Korea, VAIM has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with multiple plants in Daejeon and Okcheon to meet increasing global demand. In 2021, private equity firm Premier Partners acquired a 76% controlling stake in the company.

The company is actively expanding its global footprint, with exports reaching approximately 60 countries. A key strategic move was a pan-European partnership with the French medical aesthetics company Laboratoires FILLMED to accelerate penetration into the European market. VAIM actively promotes its brand by participating in international congresses like IMCAS and AMWC, where its 'Juvelook' product was awarded “Best Injectable for Skin Revitalization” in March 2025.
