About Typewriter Therapeutics
Typewriter Therapeutics is a Cambridge, Massachusetts and Tokyo biotechnology company developing non-viral, all-RNA genetic medicines that insert full-length therapeutic genes at safe-harbor genomic sites without double-strand breaks. Its Target-Primed Reverse Transcription (TPRT) platform, based on R2 retrotransposons and delivered via lipid nanoparticles, is designed to be durable and re-dosable for genetic liver disease, in vivo CAR-T and other high-value indications. Emerging from stealth in September 2026, Typewriter closed a $56 million Series A co-led by AN Venture Partners and RA Capital Management to advance proof-of-concept work and non-human primate studies planned for late 2026.
