Tom&Josette operates a network of intergenerational micro-daycares located within senior residences and nursing homes in France. The business model involves establishing these daycares within partner facilities, creating a shared ecosystem. Revenue is generated from the fees paid by parents for childcare services. The company's structure benefits from shared spaces and the potential for volunteer engagement from senior residents. In October 2021, Tom&Josette raised €1.3 million to expand its network of intergenerational daycares.

The service creates a mutually beneficial environment. Children enrolled in a Tom&Josette daycare participate in shared activities with the senior residents, such as crafts, reading, and baking.
