TMiRob, legally known as Shanghai TMiRobotics Technology Co., Ltd., is a specialized developer of robotic devices tailored for the healthcare sector. The company was established in Shanghai in January 2015 by Pan Jing. Pan, who serves as Chairman and CEO, holds a master's degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a bachelor's from Wuhan University. His professional background includes twelve years at National Instruments, where he gained extensive experience in robotics R&D, marketing, and sales, which directly informed the founding of TMiRob. In June 2020, Cai Weimin joined the company as co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer.

TMiRob operates on a business-to-business model, serving large Grade-3A hospitals in China as its primary clientele. The firm's core business involves providing comprehensive solutions through its robotic systems, which are designed to integrate with a hospital's existing information systems (HIS). This integration facilitates a standardized, traceable, and efficient logistics platform for medical supplies. The company's revenue model is not based on simple hardware sales but on providing a complete value-added service package, which includes the robots and the intelligent management systems they operate on. For medical supplies management, TMiRob offers a suite of autonomous mobile robots for transporting surgical instruments, high-value consumables, regulated drugs, and medical waste. These robots can navigate complex hospital environments and are managed through a unified fleet management interface. The intelligent medical services line includes robots for patient guidance, nursing assistance in wards, and facilitating remote consultations. TMiRob's products are currently in use in over 400 large hospitals across China, including prominent institutions like Wuhan Union Hospital and Shanghai Renji Hospital.
