Founded in April 2010, Suzhou Thery Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Suzhou, China, that develops and manufactures specialty active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and high-end drug preparations. The company was established by a team of entrepreneurial talents from Suzhou and has since expanded to include four subsidiaries.

Therypharm operates on a vertically integrated business model, encompassing research and development, quality management, commercial production, and marketing. This structure provides the company with flexibility and scalability across the pharmaceutical value chain. The company's R&D pipeline is extensive, with over 40 projects in therapeutic areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, antiviral, metabolic, and neurology. Its business is primarily focused on the R&D, production, and sales of these specialty drugs. As of September 2020, Therypharm had 14 API products and seven preparation products approved for marketing, with several receiving certification from the EU and US FDA.

The company has established significant R&D and production facilities, including a 4,000㎡ research and development center and a 13,000㎡ cGMP formulation production base in Suzhou. A major milestone was the establishment of a 50,000㎡ raw material and formulation production base in Zibo, Shandong, in 2017, which passed NMPA and Japanese PMDA inspections in 2021. Financially, Therypharm has attracted significant investment, completing a Series C financing round of nearly RMB 250 million (approximately $36.1M) in September 2020. This round was led by SND Ventures Group and CEC Capital Group, with participation from new and existing investors. In December 2019, the company was recognized as a "Suzhou Unicorn Enterprise of the Year".

Therypharm has developed core technologies in API crystallization, green synthesis, and complex multi-chiral center synthesis. It has also built three high-end formulation technology platforms for multi-unit sustained-release pellets, oral polypeptide formulations, and long-acting injections. The company holds a significant intellectual property portfolio, with over 40 domestic and 6 foreign patents approved.
